CPAA Arts Center CPAA's mission has always been to introduce Chinese performing arts to American general public as an integral part of American society. Now, CPAA Art Center takes on serving our community and cultivating local talents as the primary goals of the center.

Spacious Performing & Visual Arts Facility
The art center occupies14,000 sq ft of space, housing 3 multi-purpose auditoriums and 10 medium to small-sized rehearsal rooms, suitable for various kinds of arts and culture activities. It can hold art exhibits of paintings and sculpture, chamber music concerts and recitals, dance performances, as well as drama and Chinese opera shows.

Distinguished Artists and Instructors
CPAA Art Center retains a large pool of superb artists and arts educators as instructors for classes in Western and Chinese musical instruments, dance, drama, and visual arts. Classes of special interests include music composition, chamber music, wushu (martial arts), Konghou (Chinese harp), and Peking Opera. The curriculum is designed to be comparable to that of professional conservatories. Students can arrange to take multiple classes in related disciplines and thrive in a comprehensive environment for well-rounded artistic growth. To give the students the ultimate incentive to practice and opportunities to perform, CPAA will select a premium group of students each year to participate in its annual professional showcase performance.

Workshops, Classes and Clubs
CPAA Art Center is open to adult members of the community for self-enrichment activities, such as singing, dancing, painting, and acting workshops in addition to the formal training described above. Students may also enroll in cultural classes presented by local groups such as Payvand Arts and Cultural School and Dances from India. Rental / Lease of CPAA Art Center

There are 8 different size of studios (all studios has dancing floor or hardwood floor) and 7 rooms at our center.

  • Room B1, B3, C1, or C6 (about 350 sq. ft.)
  • Studio B (about 700 sq. ft.)
  • Studio A(with dance floor), Studio D, or Studio PreSchool (about 1,000 sq. ft.)
  • Studio C (about 1,400 sq. ft.)

The rental fees of large amount of people parties are listed as below:

  • Studio B or School, Studio D - $100/hour (around 50 people)
  • Studio C,B with stage - $250/hour (up to 300 people)
  • Sound system, lighting, DJ and Cleanup up fee (if serving meal) are extra.

All rooms and studios/rooms are of multi-purpose for dance, music, painting, seminar, art exhibition, workshop, seminars, weddings, birthday parties, performance, etc. For example, Studio A, Studio B, and Studio C can be combined to seat 300 audience with a 35’ X 30’ stage for a big gathering. Mr. Han Feng

Mr. Han graduated from Beijing Dance Academy, the most prestigious art college in China, Mr. Han performed in several major productions in the country. As the youngest National 1st Rank Artist by the Chinese Ministry of Culture, he received choreography awards and other awards in China and internationally. Mr. Han is working at CPAA as the Artistic Director.

Ms. Annie Austin

Annie Austin is Artistic Director and choir director of Bellissimo Children’s Choir of CPAA. She teaches music theory, musicianship, and directs different levels at choir. Annie received a Bachelor of Music from California State University at Los Angeles and received a Master’s in Music Education with a Kodaly Emphasis from Holy Names University in Oakland.

Ms. Oxana Klimashkina

Oxana was born in Moscow and was professionally trained as a ballet dancer since she was 6 years old. Fifteen years ago, she was introduced to Latin, Hustle, Ballroom and Salsa, she felt in love with them. Since then, she took numerous master classes with famous instructors and performed for over five years. She moved to US two and half years ago and has been teaching salsa since.
